Peace! I am sol and my sons are Caidence (almost 6) & Ayen (1.5yo)! Along with being a mama that homeschools, I am also a reiki teacher, sound healer, meditation guide, and founded a start-up creative wellness platform.
I feel called to start a meetup for personal reasons as the homeschooling journey can feel pretty lonely, not only for myself..but Caidence has told me several times.."mommy, i need friends!" Hearing him say that makes me sad and like I'm depriving him from a social life, however, I know those are not our intentions!
We bring him to different parks, events, and put him in activities--however, it's still challenging connecting with other parent's or for him to make connections that go beyond these experiences.
