holistic circle: parents + kids meetup (community garden in june)

Peace! I am sol and my sons are Caidence (almost 6) & Ayen (1.5yo)! Along with being a mama that homeschools, I am also a reiki teacher, sound healer, meditation guide, and founded a start-up creative wellness platform.

I feel called to start a meetup for personal reasons as the homeschooling journey can feel pretty lonely, not only for myself..but Caidence has told me several times.."mommy, i need friends!" Hearing him say that makes me sad and like I'm depriving him from a social life, however, I know those are not our intentions!

We bring him to different parks, events, and put him in activities--however, it's still challenging connecting with other parent's or for him to make connections that go beyond these experiences.

So here's my solution--i'm making a conscious effort to gather more parents and kids like us that may be having a challenging time finding a community of other parents and kids that are homeschooled. Even if your kid(s) aren't homeschooled, but you are looking for a community you can call family..you are welcomed here!

This space is also great for kids and their parents that are currently living or interested in living a holistic life that supports our families overall well-being as we can learn from each other and offer each other support.

I want this to be a collaborative meetup that provides a safe, fun, and supportive space for parents to connect, express themselves, share insights, and to receive support while the kids can play and participate in different creative wellness activities each meetup.

Activities can include: sound baths, yoga, meditation, community gardening, workshops, meditative coloring, games, dancing, holistic health workshops, and more.

6/5: community gardening: plant life cycles, pollinators, & butterflies

6/19: community gardening: planting seeds and caring for your plant baby

Parking: there is free street parking and the lot closest to the garden one side has free parking (The mural is on the side of the lot with a free parking) and the other side is $.25 for 30 minutes
