Tending to the Grief Garden is a communal healing space designed to help us connect with and process our grief, share our experiences with others, and release energy with intention. 

Join Stevie and Regina for a collective altar-building, a supportive group discussion, and a reiki-infused sound bath.

about the location

The event will take place at Bluff Park in Long Beach, off the corner of Ocean Blvd and Molino Ave. Street parking is free and is available along Ocean Blvd. and surrounding streets. Access to public bathrooms is very limited in this area.

about your facilitators

Stevie Luna Ibarra, ACSW (they/she) is a queer second generation Mexican- and Filipina-American based in Long Beach/Tongva Land. They are passionate about providing heart-centered support as a therapist, tarot reader, reiki master, and death worker. As a bereaved sibling and griever in diaspora, they feel beckoned to cultivate collective spaces to nourish our relationships with grief and with each other.

Regina Hernandez, LCSW is a Latina mental health therapist and reiki master based in Los Angeles. She has provided therapy services to children and adults in private practice, community based agencies, and medical settings for the last six years. Inspired by her work with others, and her own healing journey she is passionate about creating nurturing spaces rooted in safety, curiosity, compassion, and community to support others in their healing. Regina draws from diverse healing modalities such as reiki, sound healing, and reading oracle.
