Join Lei + Ramona from Trauma Speaks for an engaging and informative workshop on achieving work-life balance, designed for individuals seeking to enhance their overall well-being. Led by an associate therapist and a mental health coach, this workshop will delve into the intricacies of balancing professional and personal life, addressing the impact on physical and mental health.  

What to expect:

• Understanding the Impact: Explore the intricate relationship between work-life imbalance and its effects on both physical and mental health. Gain insights into the long-term consequences of prolonged imbalance and the importance of fostering a harmonious equilibrium.  

•Identifying Personal Values and Priorities: Engage in self-reflection exercises to identify your core values and priorities. Recognize how aligning your daily activities with these values can contribute to a more fulfilling and balanced life.  

•Establishing Healthy Boundaries: Learn the art of setting and maintaining healthy boundaries in both professional and personal spheres. Understand the significance of clear communication and assertiveness in creating a balanced and sustainable lifestyle.  

•Coping Skills and Techniques: Acquire practical coping skills and techniques to navigate the challenges of a demanding work environment while maintaining a sense of balance. The workshop will introduce 2-3 actionable strategies that attendees can immediately incorporate into their daily lives.  

•Application and Integration: The workshop goes beyond theoretical knowledge, providing participants with tangible tools they can apply in their lives. Through interactive discussions and activities, attendees will leave with a personalized action plan tailored to their unique circumstances.

About your facilitators:

​Lei Zervoulakos is a Clinical Forensic Psychology doctoral candidate. She also received her masters degree in forensic psychology with a police concentration in 2019. She received her bachelor's degree in Psychology at Loyola Marymount University in 2017.  

She worked as an intake coordinator and as a CCAPP-registered substance abuse counselor for 2.5 years. She worked as a graduate research assistant for the Institute of Adolescent Suicide Prevention and completed her practicum training. She is currently working on getting licensed as a professional clinical counselor, and works as an associate clinician at a group private practice in San Diego. She is also completing her internship to finish her doctoral program.   ​ 

Trauma Speaks was her first project. She was inspired to be an agent of change after attending a conference in 2017. Now, she has launched a podcast as an extension of the mental health blog and non-profit. She is passionate about helping and advocating for others. She is also committed to empowering individuals who have suffered abuse in silence, raising awareness and reducing the mindset of victim blaming, victimization, and stigma attached to mental illnesses. Her research interest include sexual assault/abuse, trauma, and PTSD. As such, her dissertation focused on examining Campus Sexual Assault Policy and Procedures.

Ramona Kraeutler, MA, graduated with her Master in clinical psychology from CSUDH while also receiving her CDC I in Texas. After she returned to Germany she continues to work as a psychologist, substance use counselor, and certified online-coach.
